Artist Statement
My work is an ongoing attempt to connect: with myself, with others, and with the universal system that I can sense but never fully grasp. I believe there is a shared origin — an invisible coordinate where all human experience converges — and through my art, I try to move closer to it. This search runs through all of my work; it is what resonates behind every image: an attempt at essential connection.
Viewers do not receive answers from me. What I offer is a chance to turn inward. My works are open systems — deliberately constructed so that meaning is never final. What I offer is a mirror, or rather a resonator: a visual space in which the viewer’s own questions and answers can echo.
My relationship with the audience is formed through this fundamental experience: the desire to move closer to oneself. Here, art is not decoration, but a tool. It is not abstraction, but a way of finding one’s way back.
Technically, I do not adhere to a single medium — the material always responds to the idea at hand. At the moment, I am most drawn to oil painting, whose layered nature and slowness allow for deeper reworking. I often combine it with other techniques: pencil, pastel, collage, coloured grounds. The materiality of my works is never pure, but permeable, trembling, evolving — much like human experience itself.
My vision for the future is not defined by specific forms or themes, but by a feeling: inner and outer calm. The goal is not closure, but arrival — the creation of a visual language that is at once familiar and unfamiliar, personal and collective, temporary and eternal.
